​Who is Eligible?

First Nation, Metis and Inuit Youth Groups and individuals aged 12 to 35 are eligible to apply.
​
Applicants are required to speak to their Indigenous (First Nation, Metis or Inuit) Identity and Community.

What projects can be funded?

To apply your project should meet the requirements below: 

  • Your project is led by passionate and committed Indigenous youth (ages 12-35)
  • Your project will contribute to a healthy community, having meaningful benefits to people and the environment
  • Your project will benefit a community in Ontario
  • You have identified the resources needed to successfully complete the project including financial and other types of support
  • You are looking for funds between $1000 - $5000 (and up to $10 000 in strong cases). 
  • You are open to participating in the OIYPP annual gathering to learn from and with other youth led projects, supporters and mentors​

How do Youth Groups and individuals apply?


​Applications must be received by March 31st, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET to be considered.
