Who is Eligible? |
First Nation, Metis and Inuit Youth Groups and individuals aged 12 to 35 are eligible to apply.
Applicants are required to speak to their Indigenous (First Nation, Metis or Inuit) Identity and Community.

What projects can be funded? |
To apply your project should meet the requirements below:
- Your project is led by passionate and committed Indigenous youth (ages 12-35)
- Your project will contribute to a healthy community, having meaningful benefits to people and the environment
- Your project will benefit a community in Ontario
- You have identified the resources needed to successfully complete the project including financial and other types of support
- You are looking for funds between $1000 - $5000 (and up to $10 000 in strong cases).
- You are open to participating in the OIYPP annual gathering to learn from and with other youth led projects, supporters and mentors
Applications must be received by March 31st, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET to be considered.
